Grade C Films
Many of these films are generally pretty solid, true, but tend to be not all that remarkable. Some are close to being B's, others D's. Being a C film isn't necessarily bad, and there are still a few movies worth a watch here - some even historic - but many of the higher end works simply don't quite live up to what I was expecting.
C+
The Barkleys of Broadway
The final Astaire-Rogers film, it marks their reunion after a decade of separate careers and it's their only film in colour. It's a historic film and still worth a watch for fans of Old Hollywood, movie musicals, or the actors themselves, but it's their weakest pairing thanks to the screenplay.
